Your data

What we keep and why

Sandcat Studios Ltd is responsible for the data on this site. We keep:

• Your credit name, email and Discord username, to send you your link, tell you when a part is reviewed, credit you and give you the Discord role.
• The voice details you give us (how old you sound, accent, preferences), to match you to parts.
• Your recordings, to review them and, if accepted, use them as set out in the release.
• A one-way scrambled version of your IP address, to stop spam sign-ups. We can't turn it back into your address.

Your details go to our own server and to the tools we use to run it. To suggest parts, the voice details you give us (not your email) are sent to Anthropic's Claude service. We don't sell or share your data with anyone else.

If none of your recordings are used, we delete your details and recordings within 12 months of the game's release. If they are used, we keep your credit name and the recordings for as long as the game is available. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time through sandcat.studio/contact; see the release for what happens to recordings already in the game.
